A Graduation Dedication to my Son!

A dedication to my son, Kyle Mattina.

Well, I am full of emotions!  My youngest son is graduating from High School this week and I am so proud of him!

Words of Wisdom:  As you finish your high school career and move forward to the next chapter of your life, remember this, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO!  Always apply yourself and try and you will find success!  Even if you fail, always reflect and learn from your mistakes, move forward and never give up!  Life is not easy, but hard work will always pay off! Surround yourself with positive people who will bring the best out of you because that is what you deserve, only the BEST!

Being a student athlete for your entire high school career has given us so many wonderful memories and proud moments that we will cherish forever.  In addition, to the Lip Sync, (My Humps by the Black Eye Peas), the fashion show, Mr. Pinelands, proms, dances, awards, injuries and so much more.  All of these experiences has made you the person you are, which is priceless!   Anyone who slides head first into home plate because they don't want to miss the opportunity is a true leader and a confident person!

Just know that moving forward to the next chapter of your life, your family will always be there for you!  Always be true to yourself, stand out of the crowd, think outside of the box, reach for the stars, and always have a kind heart!  I know you can do anything you put your mind to! We love you Kyle!

"Don’t be afraid of fear. Because it sharpens you, it challenges you, it makes you stronger; and when you run away from fear, you also run away from the opportunity to be your best possible self."  ~Ed Helms to Knox College in 2013
